│ INSTRUCTIONS FOR IRAQNOID EDITOR! │
│ (IRAQEDIT.EXE) │
└──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
This program contains several tools for deleting Iraqnoid users
that have not played in a long time or editing Desert Sectors.
Use the Player delete portion as much as you wish, it will not
cause any problems within the Iraqnoid Game.
To use the player delete option, choose it from the main menu.
It will ask which user # to delete, press the ? and enter to
see a list of users and their #. Remember the user # of the
player you wish to delete. When it asks for the user # type it
in then press enter. It will tell you the real name of the
player and once again ask if you wish to delete him. If yes then
type Y and enter.
THE FOLLOWING TEXT DESCRIBES THE PROGRAMS DESERT EDITOR!
WARNING!!!!! I DO NO RECOMMEND YOU PLAYING AROUND WITH THE
DESERT EDITOR AS IT MAY CAUSE SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITHIN THE GAME!!!
PATHS SHOULD NOT BE ALTERED AS YOU MAY CREATE DEAD ENDS THAT
A PLAYER CAN NOT GET OUT OF.
If for some reason that I can not anticipate you need to
alter the Iraqnoid.dat file that contains the 1000 sectors
then follow the following guidelines:
Choose the Desert editor from the main menu.
Pick either to View or to Edit cells. Viewing them
can NOT hurt anything.
You should use the following as a guideline to use the
Edit option:
1. Last Person in Sector: This field must contain either NONE
or the name of a user.
2. Paths: There are four fields that contain the paths in
and out of the current sector. DO NOT CHANGE the
first two of these as the game will be seriously effected.
The last two can be altered but I wouldn't know why you
would want to.
3. Weapon: This field shows what weapon is located in the
sector for a user to pick up. It is in the form of 0 to 5.
4. SCUD or GAS:This is in the form of NONE or GAS if there
is GAS here, or S.C.U.D if theres a Scud here.
5. Money: Money lying around the Sector. Can range from 0
to infinity.
6. Depot: Whether there is a Supply Depot in the sector or not.
in the format of YES or NONE
7. Others in Sector: These three fields contain others that are
currently in the sector. The options are: blank or
the name of a game player.
8. Landmine: Is there a Landmine in the sector. YES or NO
9. Who Placed the Landmine: If there is a Landmine in the sector then
who placed it there.
10.Industry: If there is an industry in the
cellblock. Format is NONE or Name of the type of
industry that is there.
11.Owner of Industry: If theres an industry in the sector
then who owns it. This is blank or the name of the
player that owns it.
12.# of Mercenaries Guarding Sector: If Mercenaries were
left to guard sector then how many of them are there.
This is in the format of 0 to infinity.
13. Who Mercenaries belong to: If Mercenaries are in the sector
then who hired them. This is in the format of either a
blank or the players alias that hired them.
14. Army Mercenaries belong to: What Army do the Mercenaries belong
to. The format is 0 - 5.
You MUST follow these field formats or you will critically
impair the game play!!!!
Once again I would recommend not altering the game play area
using the editor. It was included only for occassions that
might occur that I presently don't anticipate as a means of
editing the game play area.
